Festival Guidelines/Submission Form
**HUDSON HORROR, INC. OFFICIAL GUIDELINES FOR ENTRIES**
Deadline for submissions is April 19th, 2010.
Postal submissions must be received no later than April 19, 2010.
Entries are now being accepted for horror or exploitation shorts (10 minutes and under) and trailers (3 minutes and under), with no submission fees.
AWARDS will be presented for:
- Best Short
- Best Trailer
- Best Director
- Best Actor
- Best Special Effects
Short Films will be designated as having a running time of 10 minutes and under, including all credits. Trailers will be designated as having a running time of 3 minutes and under, including all credits.
All decisions in regard to programming for the Hudson Horror Show are made by the members of Hudson Horror Show, Inc. Entries must be submitted in either DVD or Mini-DV format (preferably). DVD screeners that are submitted must be in Region 1/NTSC format only and not contain watermarks.
All submitted entries must be suitable for final theatrical viewing. All films must be in English or be subtitled in English. Please ensure that all DVD’s are complete and in working order before submitting.
Please clearly label DVD or Mini-DV tape and accompanying case with the title of the entry, contact name and info and director’s name. All submissions must include the completely filled out and signed entry form. Submitted DVD/Mini-DV tapes will not be returned unless accompanied by a self addressed pre-paid mailing envelope.
Hudson Horror Show cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss of promotional and film materials while in transit.
Qualifying films and trailers that are accepted into the festival will receive one complimentary ticket to the festival.
Films and trailers will not be accepted if they are not the express property of the owner.
By submitting your short film or trailer you are granting Hudson Horror Show the right to use your work in theatrical exhibition as well as use audio, video and still images for promotional reasons.
